In Haiti, for decades, voting has become a vague act—without understanding, without trust, and often without hope.

In the face of misinformation, political manipulation, and the erosion of civic awareness, one fundamental question arises:

It is to answer this question that Konnen Poukisa’w Vote was created — a civic, community-based, and patriotic education program designed to restore meaning to citizen engagement.

Through workshops, focus group discussions, community meetings, media awareness campaigns, and accessible educational tools, the project empowers citizens to:

• Understand their rights and responsibilities
• Analyze political issues
• Recognize misinformation
• Become conscious and active participants in democracy

It explains why to vote and how to do so independently and

consciously.
